IAS lovebirds Tina Dabi and Aamir’s marriage inspiration

Congress president Rahul Gandhi has tweeted wishes for IAS lovebirds, Tina Dabi and Athar Aamir-ul-Shafi, who as of late got hitched at a service in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Taking to microblogging website Twitter, Rahul Gandhi stated, “May your adoration develop from quality to quality”.

The Gandhi scion said that the marriage of the IAS toppers, who have in the past been assaulted over their relationship, was “a motivation to all Indians” in the midst of the “developing prejudice and shared disdain”.

He tweeted, “Congrats Tina Dabi and Athar Amir-ul-Shafi, IAS toppers, bunch of 2015, on your wedding! May your adoration develop from quality to quality and may you be a motivation to all Indians in this time of developing prejudice and common disdain. God favor you.”

The IAS lovebirds got married on Saturday at Pahalgam club in Pahalgam, following which they went to the genealogical town of Aamir, which is close Anantnag.

Their romantic tale has been abundantly discussed since May 2015, when they met at the division of work force and preparing office in the national capital. Khan and Tina were UPSC toppers of their bunch of 2015.

A portable video, apparently shot at the wedding, demonstrated Khan wearing a conventional brilliant sherwani while Tina is in a red lehenga. Remarkably, there had been a few examples when individuals had focused on the couple over their relationship.

The engagement of the couple was named as adoration jihad. The Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha had allegedly composed a letter to Tina’s folks saying that while they were pleased with the UPSC topper’s accomplishments, it was ‘difficult’ that she wedded a Muslim. Reacting to the assaults, Tina had shared a message on her Facebook page with hashtag ‘Free Love’.

According to the couple, it was love at first sight for them. She had said, “”We met in the morning and by evening Aamir was at my door. Uske liye pehli nazar mein pyaar ho gaya (For him, it was love at first sight)”
